It had started as a simple thing, leaving notes for him to find. Sehun had always been stoic, face passive no matter what he was doing. Luhan just wanted to bring a smile to that face, to somehow brighten his day enough for him to actually show it on his face.
Over time, it became something more.
Luhan tapped the end of his pencil against his lips, trying to think of something to say, something that would make Sehun smile. At first, it had been words of encouragement when he had a big test or performance coming up. Other times, it was just little words of advice. Some notes worked and made Sehun smile a little; others drew no effect.
Luhan sighed and set his pencil down. He got up from his chair and wandered down the aisles of books. He was in the literature section, hoping to find some poetry book to give him inspiration. Occasionally, he went to self help books for their cheesy advice.
His hands brushed over the spines of different books, looking at the different titles, trying to find one that stood out to him. As he wandered the aisles, a familiar voice floated towards him. Luhan paused and peered around the shelves to see Sehun sitting at a table with Tao and Jongin.
“So what note did your hyung leave today?” Jongin grinned at Sehun as he scribbled something down in his notebook.
Sehun pulled out a familiar piece of paper, the note Luhan had left in his textbook earlier today. “Good luck on your test today. I know you’ll do well since you studied hard. Fighting!”
Sehun gave a small snort and stuck it back into his textbook. “I don’t get why he keeps doing this. He could just tell me this himself instead of leaving notes. Isn’t that right, Luhan hyung?”
Three pairs of eyes turned to stare directly at Luhan, frozen by the bookshelf. He cracked a tiny embarrassed smile, waving a little before heading back towards his seat. He dropped his head onto his hands and groaned quietly.
“Numbers got you down?” Luhan looked up to find Minseok smiling at him.
“No, just bratty, unappreciative dongsaengs.” Luhan frowned and moved his stuff to allow Minseok space on the table. He liked to lay all his materials before him in case he forgot something.
Minseok smiled gratefully as he took the seat across from Luhan. “It’s alright. One day, they’ll appreciate what a great hyung you are. I don’t know if they can outgrow the brattiness so soon.”
Luhan snorted. “Thanks for the kind words. Shall we get started?”
“Yep.” Minseok grabbed his notebook and the two started to review for their upcoming test.
Luhan sat at his desk, head in his hands. He’d already studied for a few hours but now he was frustrated, not able to figure out what to write to Sehun. It seemed like Sehun didn’t like his notes but he couldn’t stop now. It had become a routine. Even if Sehun didn’t like it, he enjoyed it. And he was still determined to get Sehun to smile more.
With that thought in mind, Luhan picked up his pencil and began to scribble on the piece of paper.
Luhan watched from his usual perch around the corner as Sehun opened up his locker and found his note sitting right on his textbooks. Sehun didn’t even bat an eyelash as he took it and unfolded it. He folded it back up almost immediately before he froze for a moment and unfolded the paper. He looked at it for a while before a hint of a smile tugged at his lips.
Luhan’s lips tugged up into a smile as Sehun’s smile widened. He thought he might have even heard a little chuckle fall from Sehun’s lips but he wasn’t sure as he had to hurry off to class before the bell rang.
“So what did hyung leave you today, Sehun?” Jongin grinned as he sat on his desk. The teacher had gone out for a bit so everyone was just chatting and doing whatever until the teacher returned, assignment forgotten.
“His usual note.”
“Can we see?” Tao rested his head on Sehun’s shoulder.
Sehun rolled his eyes. “Why? It’s just the same thing.”
“Obviously not if you’re not letting us take a peek.” Jongin grinned. “Hold him, Tao, while I go hunting for that note.”
“Hey!” Sehun frowned as Tao easily held his arms in place as Jongin rooted around in Sehun’s bag.
“Here it is.” Jongin waved it around. Tao kept Sehun at bay as the two boys looked at the note. “What the hell is this?”
On the paper was a small doodle with a short message: a small boy with a big grin and a thumbs up saying “Fighting!”.
Sehun frowned and snatched the note from Jongin. “It’s nothing. I told you.”
“If it’s nothing, why did you try so hard to hide it?” Jongin had a shit-eating grin on his face. “Oh I know why~ because it’s from your precious hyung.”
“Shut up!” Sehun smacked the back of Jongin’s head. He snatched the note back and stuffed it into his bag.
“So when are you going to tell him?”
Sehun glared, about to retort, when the teacher returned, effectively stopping all conversation.
“Sehunnie!” A small little missile glomped onto Sehun from across the courtyard.
Sehun looked down to Luhan’s bright beaming face. “Hi, Luhan hyung. What’s up?”
“Just wanted to see how my dear dongsaeng was doing.”
“Well, nice of you to ask instead of talking to me through a note.” Sehun smirked.
Luhan had a slight frown on his face. “Well we’re gonna hang out after school today. Plus why would I talk to you through notes?”
“I don’t know. You’re the one that keeps leaving me notes in random places at random times.”
“Hmph, well if you don’t like them, I can stop.”
“Would be saving you some paper.” Sehun grinned as Luhan’s frown deepened.
“Ungrateful brat,” Luhan mumbled under his breath. He turned on his heels and headed off to the local café, Sehun close on his heels.
Luhan ordered them their bubble tea as Sehun grabbed their usual table.
“Here, I got us a little something extra in case you wanted a snack.” He set the plate holding a slice of cake on the table. Sehun automatically reached for a fork, taking a bite of the cake.
“So how’s school going for you?”
“Well. You? Been doing well even with all the notes you keep passing to me?” Sehun grinned as Luhan playfully hit his shoulder.
“Stupid brat, but yes, I’m doing well.” Luhan took a sip of his bubble tea as he watched Sehun devour the cake. He opened his mouth when Sehun offered him a bite, making a noise of enjoyment.
“So then you’re not busy this weekend, right?”
“Nope. What did you have in mind?”
Luhan arrived at the park at the exact time Sehun had texted him to meet. He looked around, seeing the park relatively empty, a bit strange for the hour, but he dismissed it. His eyes caught on a balloon fluttering in the breeze, tied to a bench just a few feet away. He walked over and noticed a note attached with his name on it.
Ready for a little scavenger hunt?
Luhan’s face scrunched up. “Is he really going to do something so cheesy like this?”
“Nope, which is why I planned this instead.”
Luhan turned around to see Sehun standing on a makeshift stage. His hair was pushed back, away from his face. He wore a black tank beneath a leather jacket and tight black skinny jeans.
As Luhan watched, music began to play from some speakers stationed nearby, prompting Sehun to begin what had to be one of his best and sexiest performances yet.
Luhan’s breath caught as he watched Sehun move his hips in a sinful way, pelvis thrusting into the air with such force Luhan had no trouble imagining it beneath him. His body twisted in ways that had Luhan’s imagination acting up. Luhan was panting by the time Sehun finished, heated gazes locked.
The smile slowly spread across Sehun’s face as he walked towards Luhan. Soon Sehun was standing right in front of Luhan, breathing the same air as him. Luhan couldn’t catch his breath as they continued to stare at one another.
Their lips met in a passionate kiss, Luhan’s hands digging to Sehun’s hair as his mouth tried to devour the other. Their tongues fought, stroking and licking, until Luhan surrendered with a groan, clinging tighter to Sehun under the onslaught of his talented tongue.
Luhan pushed Sehun onto his bed, staring down at his flushed face with a smirk.
It had been about a week since Sehun’s confession and the two were finally getting a moment alone, during their normal hang out time which had become date time. Their friends had been happy for them but they were such cockblocks and they knew it. Jongin and Tao were especially brattier than usual, intruding on any moment alone Sehun and Luhan were able to get. The couple vowed to get them back when Jongin and Tao found their significant other.
Thankfully, Luhan’s parents were gone for the weekend, allowing the couple time alone. Luhan had gone over to Sehun’s house, packing a weekend bag for him and bringing him back to Luhan’s place under the pretense of having someone to protect him while he was home alone.
As soon as the front door had closed, Luhan had Sehun pressed back against the door, lips attached to Sehun’s neck. It had taken some willpower for Luhan to remember that he wanted their first time to be comfortable so to his bedroom they went.
Luhan climbed on top of Sehun, hips straddling his waist as he traced a finger gently down Sehun’s cheek. He lightly ran his fingers over Sehun’s chest, letting them wander under Sehun’s shirt when he reached the hem. His fingers grazed Sehun’s nipples, pulling a small gasp from the boy.
A smirk slowly spread across Luhan’s face. He pushed Sehun’s shirt up, revealing his pale chest. With a wink, he pushed the shirt up so it covered Sehun’s face.
“Shhh…” Luhan leaned down. He gently blew at Sehun’s hard nipples, feeling the small shiver run through Sehun’s body. His lips pressed gentle kisses all over Sehun’s chest, starting from the top and going down to the waist of his pants. With a gentle touch, Luhan slowly undid Sehun’s pants, pulling them and his boxers off in one go.
Luhan looked up to see Sehun staring at him, eyes filled with want. “Hey, who said you could look? I thought I covered your face.”
Sehun scrunched his face at Luhan. “Yeah, well I wanted to see what you were doing, you naughty boy.”
Luhan stuck his tongue out and lightly smacked Sehun’s thigh. “Do you want me to suck you off or no?”
Sehun bit his bottom lip. “How about next time? I think I’ve waited long enough to get your ass and now that I have it…”
Luhan laughed. “Well someone’s eager.”
Sehun shrugged his shoulders. “Can you blame me? I’m just a horny teenager. Plus I’ve been after that ass for a while, not that you noticed or anything.”
“Sorry, I was too busy noticing your ass to notice you noticing mine.” Luhan crawled back up and kissed Sehun.
They quickly shed the rest of their clothes, Luhan lying on his back as Sehun watched Luhan stretch himself.
Sehun was mesmerized, seeing Luhan’s fingers go in and out of his hole, prepping himself for Sehun.
“Yes?” Sehun came closer to Luhan.
“I want…I need…” Luhan moaned as he twisted his fingers inside himself.
“What? What do you need?” Sehun leaned closer, lips an inch above Luhan’s.
Luhan let out a breathless moan. “You.”
Sehun pressed his lips to Luhan’s as he positioned himself in place. Going slow, Sehun eased in, pausing when he felt Luhan tense.
“Shh…it’s okay. You’re just…yeah, it’s fine. You can keep moving.”
Sehun pushed in until he was fully inside Luhan. The two stayed closed together, getting used to the sensation.
Luhan shifted beneath Sehun. “You can move now.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to hurt you.”
“Yeah, I’ll be fine.” Luhan shifted again. “Now move your hips just like last week when you were dancing. I’ve been imagining you like that…but beneath me.”
“Oh.” Sehun looked surprised. “Well…did you want to…?”
“Maybe next time. Now come on and fuck me.” Luhan growled, legs coming up to wrap around Sehun’s waist.
“Your wish is my command.”
Luhan snorted. “Brat. I know you want this just as much as me.”
“You’re right.” There was a tell-tale twinkle in Sehun’s eyes before he was pounding Luhan into the mattress. Luhan could only cling on for life.
“Oh gawd, Luhan, I’m so close.” Sehun’s thrusts became more erratic the closer he got to his orgasm.
“Sehun, Sehun, Sehun.” Luhan’s nails dug into Sehun’s back as his orgasm neared.
Sehun’s thrusts got harder. He pulled out and thrust in at a different angle. It took a few tries but he found it when Luhan choked. Sehun smirked as he repeatedly thrust at that spot.
Luhan came between their bodies, Sehun following soon after.
The two lay spent on the bed, breathless, tired, and happy.
Sehun pulled out, collapsing next to Luhan. Luhan immediately curled up into him, not caring about the mess.
“Luhan, we should go clean up.”
“Later, I’m tired.” Luhan pouted, snuggling closer, wrapping himself around Sehun.
Sehun sighed but complied, kissing Luhan on the head.
Sehun was seated at the lunch table, enjoying his meal, when his phone buzzed. He reached inside to grab his phone and found a note placed with it. He opened up his phone and saw the message “Did you see it?”.
He looked confused before he grabbed the note on his phone. He recognized the handwriting.
Love you, Luhan
A small smile crossed Sehun’s face.
I love you more
Luhan grinned brightly. He looked up and saw Sehun’s smile.
“Sehunnie! You finally smiled!”
Sehun only had a brief moment before Luhan was throwing himself at him. “What do you mean? I always smile when you’re around.”
“And it’s pretty disgusting, now that you two are an item. His smile looks stupider now that he has you. I mean before, his smiles were pitiful ‘cause he was so in love with you but – mmph.” Sehun flashed a grateful smile at Tao who had stuffed some food into Jongin but the smile was short lived.
“Yeah, he was so pitiful, whimpering after you, gushing about your non existent ass and good looks and –“
“Okay…” Sehun jumped up from his seat. “Want to go somewhere else, Luhan? Say a place not populated by idiots?”
Luhan chuckled. “Sure.”
He let Sehun lead them away, going towards an empty hallway.
Sehun gently backed Luhan up against the wall. “So what was this about me finally smiling?”
“Oh just uh…” Luhan looked away in embarrassment. “So uh…you know my whole note writing thing?”
“I’m vaguely familiar with it, yes.”
Luhan playfully hit Sehun. “Well uh…I started all of that because I just wanted you to smile more. You seemed so serious…but now that I know you’ve been smiling but not when I’m around –“
“Hey! I always smile when you’re around and when I’m thinking about you and um…” Sehun trailed off, cheeks heating up.
“Oh…maybe you can show me some of these smiles? Seems like I’ve missed them.” Luhan smiled up at Sehun as his arms came up to wrap around Sehun’s neck.
“Have I told you how silly you are?”
“And how much I love you?”
“All the time.” Luhan beamed at Sehun. “Now are you going to kiss me?”
“Of course.” Sehun flashed Luhan a smile before leaning down and gently kissing him.
