Warning: lots of smut (it’s quite dirty ;) ), slight cracky-ness
“Hey, who’s that guy?”
Baekhyun looked in the direction that Joonmyun pointed. “Oh him. That’s Jongdae. He just got back from studying abroad in China. Want me to introduce you two?” He winked, causing Joonmyun to blush a little.
“No, it’s fine.” Joonmyun turned back to his meal.
“Hey Jongdae, over here.”
Joonmyun looked up in shock as he saw Jongdae smile and head towards their table. He glanced over and saw Baekhyun smiling.
“He’s a friend and was looking for a place to sit.” Baekhyun smiled and waved as Jongdae came over. “Hey Jongdae, have a seat.”
Jongdae took the chair next to Joonmyun (funny how that happened).
“Let me introduce you to everyone. That’s Sehun, the maknae of the group. He’s in love with his Chinese pen pal.”
“I am not.”
“That’s Kai, our resident sexy dancing machine, and Kyungsoo, our resident cook.”
“We like to call them Kaisoo since you rarely find one without the other since they started dating late last year.”
“You already know Chanyeol, my hot but rather dorky boyfriend.” Chanyeol grinned and leaned over to kiss Baekhyun on the cheek.
“And last but not least, Joonmyun hyung, our resident model student. The girls dubbed him the smiling angel on account of his habit to smile constantly. All his emotions could be expressed with his smile.”
Joonmyun felt his cheeks heat as Jongdae looked at him and smiled. He gave a small smile before looking back down at his meal.
Baekhyun shared a look with Chanyeol. “So Jongdae, how was China? Meet anyone interesting?”
“China was good. Got to visit so many places. Made some friends when I was there. Remember Minseok hyung? I ended up becoming roommates with him and four Chinese students: Lu Han, Wu Fan, Zhang Yixing, and Huang Zitao.”
“Lu Han?” Baekhyun perked up. “Isn’t that the name of your pen pal, Sehun-ah?”
“You’re Oh Sehun?” Jongdae stared at Sehun.
“Oh nothing.” A smirk graced Jongdae’s face. “Oh, I had some questions about school. Since I’ve been gone for a while, I’ve completely forgotten everything.”
“Joonmyun hyung over here, Mr. Student Body President, will be glad to help you. He knows everything there is to know about school. Why doesn’t he give you a tour after lunch?”
“Oh uh I-I don’ think –“
“Sure. I’d love that.”
Joonmyun looked up to see Jongdae smiling brightly at him. He couldn’t help the smile spreading across his face. “Okay.”
Jongdae followed Joonmyun around the school after lunch, pointing to things and asking questions here and there. Joonmyun did his best to explain everything and not get distracted by Jongdae.
Somehow the light hit him in a way that highlighted every single attractive feature on Jongdae’s face. Joonmyun kept getting mesmerized and would have to pull himself back from his thoughts.
“So Joonmyun hyung, what do you do for fun?”
“Yeah, thins you do that you like, things that make you smile.”
“You.” Joonmyun froze as his eyes widened when he realized what he’d said.
Jongdae grinned and smiled, looking at Joonmyun. “So I’m something you like or something that makes you smile?”
“Yes, no, I mean –“
“Hey, you two.” Chanyeol came bounding up to them, slinging an arm around each of their necks. “Want to go grab something to eat? School’s about to end so we should leave before the rush.”
“But the bell hasn’t rung yet.”
“Oh relax, Mr. President. It’s just a few minutes early. No harm, no foul.” Chanyeol grinned as he dragged Joonmyun and Jongdae out of school.
After they got their drinks, Chanyeol got a call.
“Sorry but I gotta take this.” He stepped outside to chat on his phone.
Joonmyun looked down at his drink, feeling awkward.
Jongdae chuckled. “You know you don’t have to feel awkward. It’s fine. So what do you like besides me?”
Jongdae smiled at the blush staining Joonmyun’s cheeks. “Sorry. I couldn’t resist. Do you like to sing?”
“Yeah, I enjoy music.”
“So do I. We should go to noraebang sometime.”
“If you’re free tonight, we can all go.” Joonmyun and Jongdae looked up to see Chanyeol smiling at them. “Just got off the phone with Baekhyun. He wants us all to go out to eat and noraebang in celebration of Jongdae’s return.”
“Oh well, I have to go home and do work.”
“Aww hyung~ can’t you skip just one night of studying and come out with us? It’s not like we’re asking you to go clubbing or anything, just out to dinner and noraebang.”
“I really need to study.”
Joonmyun felt a shiver run down his spine. He turned his head and saw Jongdae looking at him with a slight pout on his lips.
“Come out with us. I just got back and haven’t had real Korean food in a long time. And I really want to go to noraebang.” Jongdae winked and smiled. “I want to hear you sing.”
Joonmyun looked between Chanyeol’s grinning face and Jongdae’s smiling face. He felt his resolve break and sighed. “Fine, I’ll go.”
“Good. Well, we should head home. Joonmyun can walk you home since you live in the same direction and pick you up later since you probably forgot where everything is.”
“Okay. So we’re meeting at 6 for dinner then?”
“Yeah, well I gotta go. See you guys later.” Chanyeol smiled and waved before walking off.
“Shall we go?” Jongdae smiled and held out a hand to Joonmyun. “You’ll need to show me the way home. I’m a bit confused on where we are.”
“Well uh…where do you live?”
Jongdae gave the address of a place close to where Joonmyun lived. “Oh wow, you live pretty close to me.”
“So we can walk to school together too.”
Joonmyun flushed a bit at the suggestion. “Uh sure. I-I can pick you up in the morning since I live a bit farther than you.”
“Great, so shall we go now?” Jongdae still had his hand held out to Joonmyun.
Joonmyun hesitated a second before putting his hand in Jongdae’s and leading the way.
The walk home wasn’t as awkward as Joonmyun thought. They kept an easy conversation going, Joonmyun answering Jongdae’s questions, helping him familiarize himself with the place again. When there was a lull in conversation, there was still a comfortable silence.
Joonmyun looked at Jongdae who was looking around. He glanced down at their joined hands. It felt so right holding his hand; he didn’t want to let go.
“Well, this is my place. Thanks for walking me home, Joonmyun hyung.” Jongdae smiled.
“No problem. I’ll see you later then.” Joonmyun smiled and letting his hand slip from Jongdae’s, waved goodbye.
“Wait!” Joonmyun turned around to see Jongdae walking towards him.
“Here’s my number. Call me when you pick me up, ok?” He handed Joonmyun a slip of paper before smiling, waving and walking away.
Joonmyun stood frozen for a moment, absorbing what had just happened. As he looked at the number in his hand, a smile spread across his face. He walked home sporting a bright smile.
Joonmyun nervously waited in front of Jongdae’s door, fiddling with his phone. He had ended up going to Jongdae’s place early, too distracted and worried about tonight to try and study a bit. He knew whenever he went out with his friends, they would stay out late, giving him almost no time to study before sleeping. He paced in front of Jongdae’s door, unsure of what to do.
“So how long are you gonna stand there pacing before you either decide to call me or knock on the door?”
Joonmyun looked up from his pacing to see Jongdae leaning in the doorframe with a smirk on his face. Joonmyun flushed a bright red and made his way over to Jongdae, keeping his head down.
“Hey, look at me.” Joonmyun looked up to see Jongdae’s smiling face. He laughed.
“Oh, you’re so cute.” He leaned over and kissed Jonnmyun’s blushing cheek.
“Come on, let’s go.” He closed the door and grabbed Joonmyun’s hand. “You have to lead the way remember? I don’t know where I’m going.”
Joonmyun did his best to calm his racing heart and lead the way.
Baekhyun smiled as Joonmyun and Jongdae came into the restaurant holding hands. “Hey you two. Finally, you made it. What took you so long?”
“Joonmyun hyung here kept pacing in front of my door instead of calling me to come out.” Kai, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and Jongdae all shared a smile.
“So Joonmyun’s been a big help?”
“Yep. He’s such a good boy helping someone like me familiarize himself with the area. So how’s everyone else?” Jongdae looked around. “where’s Sehun-ah?”
“He’ll be joining us soon, had some last minute errand thing to do.”
At that moment, Sehun walked through the door. “Hey, sorry I’m late. Did you order yet?”
“We were about to.”
“Oh good, so I can still order.” He took a look at the menu. “Alright, got my choice.”
Joonmyun signaled for the ahjumma and everyone placed his order.
“So how are you adjusting to school in Korea? Is it really different from school in China?”
“It wasn’t too bad once I got adjusted to the pace. But it was really hard to communicate at first. Chinese is a difficult language to learn.”
“So did your Chinese improve at all?”
“Well yes. Since I was surrounded by constant Chinese, I had to have picked up some. Actually, my roommates were really helpful in teaching me. My experience wouldn’t have been the same without them.”
“Will they come visit you?”
“Maybe. We talked about it but no plans yet.”
“That’s cool. I really want to meet them, see how great they are.”
“I can try and arrange it. They’re really cool and fun to hang with, kinda like you guys.”
“Alright. Oh, look our food is here.”
“So how’s your singing, Jongdae?”
“Good enough for noraebang if that’s what you’re asking.”
“So you up for it?”
“Of course. When do we go?”
“When everyone is done eating.” Baekhyun reached over and grabbed the last piece of food from Chanyeol’s plate.
“There, done. Now go pay, Joonmyun hyung, and we’ll go sing.” Baekhyun hooked arms with Jongdae and lead the way.
Joonmyun sighed, getting out his wallet and heading to pay.
Joonmyun settled in the couch, prepared to watch the craziness that happened when Baekhyun and Chanyeol were let loose in a noraebang room. Sehun sat on the sie to watch as well. Baekhyun and Chanyeol were happily pouring through the song book and adding songs to the cue. Kyungsoo and Kai were looking through another book and occasionally adding some songs to the list.
“Hey, did you want to look through the book together?”
Joonmyun looked up and saw Jongdae standing next to him holding another song book. “Oh…uh I’m fine. I don’t really get to sing much with those two hogging the mic,” pointing in Baekyeol’s direction.
“Oh come on, choose a song. I want to hear you sing. Oh, how about we do a duet together?”
“Ooo…you should do it, hyung. Look, I have the perfect song for you guys.” Kyungsoo smiled as he inputted the number of a song. “There, all set. Or were there any songs you wanted to add, Jongdae?”
“I think Baekhyun added some songs for me so I’m good. What about you, Joonmyun hyung?”
“I already added his songs. He tends to sing the same songs at noraebang.” Baekhyun smiled from his spot on another couch, hand already holding a mic. “Now shhh…my song is on.”
For the next two hours, Baekhyun and Chanyeol sang their hearts out. Occasionally, they would take a break and let Kyungsoo or Jongdae sing.
Joonmyun liked it best when Jongdae sang. He loved listening to his voice, could listen to it for hours. Joonmyun had sang a few times but he had felt self-conscious with Jongdae watching him.
“Hey look, it’s your duet song.”
Baekhyun and Chanyeol passed the mics over to Jongdae and Joonmyun. The beginning notes of ‘What is Love’ came on.
“What? Why did you choose this song? Isn’t this your duet song with Baekhyun?”
Kyungsoo shrugged his shoulders. “So? I want to hear you two sing this. Jongdae’s great, you’ll see.”
The moment Jongdae opened his mouth to sing, Joonmyun lost his mind. He could have forgotten to sing if Sehun hadn’t poked him. Jongdae smiled as Joonmyun harmonized his voice with his.
Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, and Chanyeol shared knowing looks.
Joonmyun couldn’t take his eyes off Jongdae for the entire song. It was like Jongdae was compelling Joonmyun to look at him. He felt flushed when the song ended.
“Yay! Woohoo!” Chanyeol clapped loudly. “That was great. Do another one.”
“Sorry but our time is just about up.” Sehun pointed to the time, showing they only had a minute left.
“Aww…maybe next time.”
Jongdae chuckled to himself. Everyone looked at him. He looked at everyone and smiled. “Oh sorry, it’s something you wouldn’t understand.”
“Well one of my friends in China would always say that all the time. It’s a little joke in our group.”
“Ahh…okay. Come on, let’s get going.” Kyungsoo grabbed Kai’s hand and tugged him off from the couch where he was already half asleep. “We’ll see you at school tomorrow.”
“Here, I’ll help you.” Sehun came over and took Kai’s other side, helping Kyungsoo walk the half-asleep boy home.
“Come on, Channie, let’s head out too.” Baekhyun grabbed Chanyeol’s arm and dragged him out the door.
Joonmyun stood awkwardly in the room, unsure of what to do.
“Shall we get going too?” Jongdae smiled and held out his hand.
Joonmyun hesitantly placed his hand in Jongdae’s.
“Now lead the way.”
Jongdae smiled as he saw Joonmyun walking towards him. “I waited outside for you so you wouldn’t pace outside again and make us late.”
“Oh…uh well okay. Shall we go then?”
“Sure, lead the way.”
Joonmyun gave a shy smile before walking past Jongdae. As he walked past, Jongdae reached out and grabbed his hand. Joonmyun hesitated and looked back to see Jongdae smiling at him.
“Is something wrong?”
“Uh no…uh let’s just get going.” Joonmyun kept his head down as Jongdae happily walked next to him.
“Hi Jongdae. Hey Joonmyun hyung.”
Joonmyun looked up to see Baekhyun smirking at him. “Hi Baekhyun-ah, how are you?”
“Good but how are you? Have something to tell us?” He looked at Jongdae and Joonmyun’s hands.
Joonmyun quickly let go and blushed. “N-n-n-no. I-I’m fine. I-I don’t have anything to tell you. Why?”
Baekhyun looked knowingly at Joonmyun before turning to join Chanyeol and Jongdae’s conversation.
Joonmyun wandered into the library, looking for an empty spot. He had a lot of work to do, papers and student council work. He found an empty table in the back and plopped down in the chair. He took out his textbooks and laptop and began working.
He looked at his assignment and noticed he didn’t have the book. He sighed and began to wander the aisles in search of the book. He quickly found it and walked back to his table.
Someone had taken the seat across from him.
Joonmyunbarely spared him a glance as he sat down in his seat and began to work.
“Hey Joonmyun hyung, can you help me with this?”
Joonmyun looked up from his laptop and rubbed his eyes. He looked around for the source of the voice. His eyes widened when he caught Jongdae smiling at him from across the table.
Jongdae was wearing round-framed glasses that made him look like a cuter Harry Potter.
Joonmyun swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat and gave Jongdae a small smile. “Uh hi Jongdae-ah. I-I didn’t noticed you there.”
“You were pretty absorbed in your work. I think you missed afternoon classes.”
“Oh, that’s alright. I’m excused when I’m working on student council things.”
“And are you?” Jongdae’s eyes twinkled.
“Yes, in between doing my homework. I have a lot to do. But uh…what did you want me to help you with?”
“Oh no, it’s nothing if you already have a lot of work to do.”
“Oh no, it’s no trouble at all.” Joonmyun smiled brightly at Jongdae.
Jongdae looked at him a moment before returning his smile. “I’m having some trouble with this one assignment and was wondering if you could help me.”
Jongdae passed over his book and pointed to the section.
Joonmyun looked at the book and smiled. “Oh this.” He proceeded to explain in detail the assignment.
Jongdae nodded his head and smiled. “Thank you, hyung.” He grabbed his book and proceeded to do his work.
Joonmyun smiled and turned back to his work but found his gaze straying to Jongdae bent over his work. His eyes moved over Jongdae’s face, his cheekbones, his lips, his eyes framed in those round glasses. Joonmyun felt his heart race as he studied Jongdae’s beautiful face.
Jongdae looked up and caught Joonmyun staring at him. He gave a little smirk before turning back to his work.
Joonmyun shook his head in an attempt to get rid of the strange spell Jongdae had cast over him. He went back to his work but found himself distracted by the guy in front of him. He gave a little sigh and closed his laptop and textbook.
Jongdae looked up from his work to see Joonmyun packing up his stuff. “Going home?”
Joonmyun looked at Jongade and nodded.
“Could you wait a moment?” Jongdae quickly scribbled something down and packed up his things. He picked up his bag and smiled at Joonmyun.
“Come on, let’s go home.” He grabbed Joonmyun’s hand and led him from the library.
“So you and Jongdae have gotten close pretty quickly.”
“Uh yeah. Since we’re practically neighbors, we tend to do a lot of things together.”
“Uh huh…” Baekhyun nodded. “And you totally have a crush on him.”
“What makes you think that?” Joonmyun flushed a light pink and looked in Jongdae’s direction, hoping he couldn’t hear their conversation.
“There’s this look in your eyes every time you look at him and you get this goofy smile on your face whenever you’re with him, looking at him, thinking about him.”
Joonmyun stared at Chanyeol in horror at his outburst. Everyone else turned to look at Chanyeol.
“What’s going on?”
“Nothing. Chanyeol’s just being Chanyeol.”
Everyone accept this except Jongdae who looked skeptically at the three of them before turning back to his conversation.
“So now do you believe me?” Baekhyun crossed his arms and looked at Joonmyun.
“Fine, so I like him. You are not to do anything about it.”
“Why not? I’m good at this.”
Joonmyun scoffed. “Yeah right. If it wasn’t for you and Chanyeol, Kyungsoo and Kai would’ve gotten together earlier.”
Baekhyun shrugged his shoulders. “Not my fault Kyungsoo was so insecure and needed reassurances and help. Blame it on Kai for being an idiot and not realizing his feelings sooner. I practically had to throw Kyungsoo as him.”
Joonmyun sighed. “Whatever, just stay out of it. I don’t want any help with this.”
“Find, go make a fool of yourself. I’ll be here when you need the help, only if you beg though since you so kindly rejected my offer.”
“Alright. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some work to do.” Joonmyun grabbed his things and left for the library.
Joonmyun found an empty spot and got out all this things. He spent the next couple hours completing his assignments and student council duties. He paused to stretch and found Jongdae seated across from him. He felt his throat close up again when he spied those glasses on Jongdae’s face.
Jongdae felt someone’s gaze on him and looked up to see Joonmyun looking at him. He gave him a smile before going back to his work.
Joonmyun looked at his things and then at Jongdae. He sighed, realizing he’d have trouble getting back to work. He quietly packed up his things.
Jongdae looked up, puzzled.
Joonmyun gave him a small smile. “I’m gonna go home. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Joonmyun quickly left the library, unaware of Jongdae’s knowing smirk.
“Hey, I have some great news. You’ll get to meet my Chinese friends. They’re coming to visit me next week over break. Isn’t that great?” Jongdae smiled brightly as he sat down next to Joonmyun and Sehun.
“That’s cool. So what do you guys plan on doing?”
“I’m not sure. I was just going to see what they wanted to do and just act as a guide or translator. You guys are welcome to join us when we figure out plans. I’ll text you.”
“So what do they look like? You never did show us pictures of your time there.”
“Oh, my bad. Still kinda adjusting, then got distracted and forgot. Here, let me show you now. I should have some pics on my phone.” Jongdae pulled out his phone and searched through his pictures for a good one. “Uh here. This is me, Minseok hyung, Wu Fan hyung, Lu Han hyung, Zitao, and Yixing hyung.”
“Seriously Jongdae, did you win the lottery or something to be rooming with them?”
Jongdae smiled. “Just luck of the draw. You wouldn’t believe my reaction when I first met them. I was actually a bit intimidated since they’re all so handsome and I barely knew a word of Chinese. But they all welcomed me with open arms. Yixing took really good care of me. He helped me out the most.” He pointed to a guy with a dimple and slightly wavy hair.
“Ooo…he’s cute with that dimple.”
“Did you ever try to date any of them?”
“No, not at all. But I will tell you I did get a crush on some of them. Yixing was one of them. He’s just so sweet and really good-looking. He’s really talented too. He was actually a child star if you can believe that. I got to see some clips of him and he was so cute. He’s such a great guy. You’ll see for yourself when they come visit.”
Joonmyun took note of the picture, catching sight of Yixing’s wavy hair.
“Hey, isn’t this the same Lu Han you write to, Sehun-ah?”
Everyone crowded around Jongdae’s phone, trying to get a peek at the photo again.
“Hey Sehun, where’s your photo of Lu Han? I know you carry it around with you.”
“What are you talking about?” Sehun looked at Kai like he was crazy.
“Don’t lie. I’ve seen you staring at it in class. Hand it over.”
“No.” Sehun clutched his bag protectively.
“Hand it over.”
Kai pounced on Sehun. The two found over Sehun’s bag until Chanyeol reached over and plucked it out of Sehun’s grasp.
“Hey!” Sehun sat up indignant as Baekhyun reached inside and pulled out Sehun’s wallet. He flipped it open and the picture of Lu Han stared out at him.
“OMG, it’s the same person!” Baekhyun held up the picture next to Jongdae’s phone. They compared them side-by-side.
“Holy crap, it is the same person. Aww, our little Sehunnie finally gets to meet his lover.”
“Hey, he is not my lover.” Sehun pouted and grabbed his wallet and bag back from Baekyeol. He left the cafeteria in a huff.
Joonmyun sighed, grabbed his things, and followed after Sehun. He found Sehun out in the little courtyard. “Hey, are you alright?”
“Oh, hi hyung. I-I’m fine. It’s just – they had no right to do that.”
“I know, I know.” Joonmyun placed an arm around Sehun’s shoulder. “But you know they love you and thought it would help you. You know you’re in love with him.”
“Yes, but I didn’t need to be reminded. Do you know how hard it is to be in love with your pen pal? We just talk through letters, not even email or instant messenger or anything like that. I had asked but he felt like letters were more personal. I barely know him anything about him other than what he writes in his letters and this photo. And he’s coming next week because he’s Jongdae hyung’s friend.” Sehun let out a noise similar to a dying strangled cat. “What am I suppose to do? It’s been a while since I last got a letter and he hasn’t mentioned anything about this to me.”
Sehun pouted and rested his head on Joonmyun’s shoulder.
“Aww, it’s alright, Sehun-ah. How about we skip school and get you some bubble tea?”
Sehun perked up. “Okay.”
The two got up and left hand in hand. They were oblivious to the person watching them from an upstairs window.
Joonmyun blearily rubbed his eyes as his doorbell sounded again. He got up and slowly made his way to the door. He opened it to find Jongdae standing there with a bright smile on his face. “Jongdae-ah? What are you doing here?”
“I thought we could go out for lunch.”
“Oh uh…could you let me get ready first?”
Joonmyun moved aside to let Jongdae in. “Uh you can just relax in the living room while I go shower and change.”
“Alright.” Jongdae smiled as he sat down on the couch.
Joonmyun went to his room, grabbed his clothes, and quickly showered. He emerged a few moments later, using the towel to dry his hair.
“Here, let me do it.” The towel was removed from his hands and Joonmyun looked up to see Jongdae smiling as he dried his hair.
“Uh thanks. So where did you want to go eat?”
“I know this place. Just trust me.”
“Sure. Am I ready to go yet?”
Jongdae stood back and looked at Joonmyun. “Not yet.” He leaned over and placed a kiss on Joonmyun’s cheek.
Joonmyun flushed red.
“There, now you’re ready.” Jongdae smiled at his handiwork, grabbed Joonmyun’s hand, and dragged him out.
Joonmyun came home and collapsed on his couch.
Jongdae had dragged him everywhere it felt like. He had wanted to buy all sorts of things for his friends and would talk about them almost non-stop. Jongdae had gone one and on about Yixing and had taken the most time trying to pick a present for him.
Joonmyun pouted as he rest his head on his arms. He remembered the picture of Yixing with his dimple and wavy hair. He glanced at the clock on the wall and rushed out of his house.
“OMG! What did you do?” Baekhyun stared at Joonmyun horrified.
Joonmyun gave Baekhyun a sheepish smile. “I felt like having a change.”
“A change is fine and I like the red but why a perm? If you had bothered to call me before doing this hair change, I could’ve talked you out of it. What were you thinking?” Baekhyun caught Joonmyun’s expression. “Oh no, you didn’t…Joonmyun hyung! How could you? Why would you think that?”
Baekhyun slapped a hand to his forehead. “Oh Joonmyun hyung…did he say anything about it this morning?”
“Uh no.” Baekhyun shook his head. “But maybe he didn’t notice. He’s not completely awake in the morning.”
“Uh huh.” Baekhyun left out the part that Jongdae was the one who told him about Joonmyun’s hair change this morning, which had prompted Baekhyun to skip class to see the damage. “Well since you did this, you’re stuck with it for a while. I can try to do something with it so it’s not so messy. If you recall, I was able to fix Chanyeol’s hair disaster last year when he thought he could style it himself to impress me. Next time you decide to change your hair, consult me first.”
“Yes, Baekhyun.” Joonmyun sighed and sat down in front of Baekhyun to let him work his magic.
Joonmyun quietly sat at the table eating his lunch. After Baekhyun had fixed his hair, gave him instructions on how to take care of it, and lecture him again, Joonmyun had felt too tired to do anything. He gave acknowledgement when needed but kept to himself. He finished his meal and left to go to the library to do his work.
“Hyung!” Joonmyun turned around to see Sehun walking to him. “Could I talk to you privately?”
The two walked to the courtyard.
“So I received a letter from Lu Han hyung yesterday and he said he’s coming to Korea this week and wants to meet with me. He gave me his number and other contact stuff.”
“Okay, and what’s wrong with that?”
“Well, I don’t know…”
“You want to meet him right?”
“Okay, then write back to him and give him your contact info. Make plans to meet up. What was so difficult about that?”
“It just feels strange and awkward. What if we meet each other before expected?”
“What do you mean by that? Wait…he doesn’t know you’re friends with Jongdae?” Sehun sheepishly shook his head. “Why, Sehun-ah?”
“It just never came up.”
Joonmyun placed his head in his hands.
“What? It would be awkward to bring it up.”
“Tell me it’ll be okay.”
“It will be, Sehun-ah, but you just gave yourself an awkward moment on top of your first meeting. If you meet him before accidentally meeting him with Jongdae, I think you’ll be fine.”
“Okay, well I can try and see but he might have plans already.”
Joonmyun sighed. “Oh Sehun…I don’t know what else to say. Do you want to go grab some bubble tea?”
A bright smile lit Sehun’s face. “Okay.”
Joonmyun stood up and held out a hand to Sehun. Sehun happily took his hand and led the way.
